Meridian Township is hosting a Community Forum on the Local Streets Improvement Bond Proposal appearing on the Tuesday, August 6, 2019 ballot.
Join Township Manager Frank L. Walsh and Deputy Township Manager/Director of Public Works Derek N. Perry for a Community Conversation on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Room of the Municipal Building (5151 Marsh Road, Okemos).
“We are putting a $35 million 10-year Local Streets Improvement Bond Proposal up for consideration in August,” stated Township Manager Frank L. Walsh. “It is our responsibility to inform the residents of what this level of funding will mean for all 147 miles of local streets within the Township. Hosting an informal Community Conversation allows Deputy Township Manager Perry and me the opportunity to answer questions residents may have.”
Residents are invited and encouraged to attend and ask questions regarding the Local Streets Improvement Bond Proposal.
This meeting will not be televised. This meeting is not a Special Township Board meeting. Information presented to the Board can be found at the Meridian Township website at: www.meridian.mi.us/government/township-projects/2019-township-projects.
