The Economic Development Department is designed to implement many aspects of the Township Master Plan. The Township is committed to building a sustainable and vibrant community where businesses thrive and residents have a variety of local shopping, dining and housing options. 

The Meridian Township Economic Development team is here to help with starting or expanding your business, providing feedback on a development project and engaging with residents, business owners and land owners to on an idea.

The Economic Development Director works closely with the Township business-related volunteer boards & commissions: the Downtown Development Authority, Economic Development Corporation, the Corridor Improvement Authority and the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.
