Join the Friends of Historic Meridian for the annual Heritage Festival from 11 am - 4 pm, highlighting historical 19th century activities.
Visitors enjoy early American demonstrations and exhibits as well as children's activities and games. Witness what life was like during the Civil War with a Civil War Encampment and visit docents and tour the historic buildings.
The Heritage Festival will also host various family friendly activities including:
Early American demonstrations like rug hooking, cross stitching, lace making, quilting and weaving,
Exhibit booths including Back Door Gardeners, Socks Etc., Capital Area District Libraries and Barking Dog Apothecary.
Crossroads Weavers, Quilting Demo, Cross Stitch, Capital Area Lace Making and Backdoor Gardeners
Musical Performance in the Village Chapel by Grace Wood Singers and DJ Clarinet.
