Join us at Davis Foster Preserve (please park in the main parking area next to the brown pole barn) to transplant native species grown from our very own seeds collected by MCC volunteers and staff! Unlike traditional gardening, native habitat restoration is a little more wild and takes place among downed logs and woody debris. Please be prepared to walk over uneven terrain and go off trail. We will provide all tools and will talk about why native plants are so important to our local natural areas. No experience is necessary, we would love to teach you about native plants and gardening! Join us in the rolling hills of Davis to connect, learn, and conserve.

Weekday Warriors occur every other Thursday (holiday dependent) from 1 pm to 3 pm at different locations in the Township. This small, but mighty weekday group meets every other Thursday to work on small, but important stewardship projects in the Township. We do invasive species removal, litter cleanup, native seed collection and sowing, sometimes all at once!
