Due to very icy conditions at Red Cedar Glen Preserve, MCC has changed the location of the scheduled Winter Solstice Hike on Sunday, December 21 at 8:00 am to Davis Foster Preserve (5120 Van Atta Rd, Okemos).
**IMPORTANT NOTE**
In the December edition of The Playbook that was sent on December 4, there was a typo that stated the Winter Solstice Hike would be on Saturday, December 21. The hike will be taking place on SUNDAY, December 21.
Our apologies for any confusion.
Welcome winter with a lovely sunrise hike at Red Cedar Glen Preserve (park at the end of Sylvan Glen Road in Okemos) with Meridian Conservation Corps on Sunday, December 21. We will walk to appreciate early morning in nature and talk about the winter season and the changes in our natural areas. Groovy donuts and coffee will be provided!
