Meridian Township parks offer varied opportunities between play, recreation and relaxation. With over 900 acres on 29 park properties, over 20 miles of trails within the park system, and several ball fields, pavilions, playgrounds and more to enjoy; we are sure you will find a park that fits your lifestyle. 

Each Park listed in our Parks Directory provides an address, list of amenities and natural features, plus picnic, pavilion and restroom provisions.

Nancy Moore Park was acquired in 1989 and was Meridian Township's first athletic complex. The 40 acres that makes up this park is adjacent to Central Park and connected through both natural trails and the paved pathway system. Amenities in Nancy Moore Park include a pavilion, restrooms, ball fields, soccer fields, sand volleyball courts with Lake Michigan sand, play equipment, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, Gaga ball pits, a basketball court, grills and a paved parking lot with room for 160 cars. Nancy Moore Park will soon be home to the new Meridian Small Dog Park. It is currently being constructed and set to open in 2019.
