Legg Park makes up 103 acres of a larger park called Meridian Riverfront Park. Legg Park is a true natural area with great birding opportunities and many natural trails that take you along the edge of the Red Cedar River. People can enjoy picnicking at the Legg Park pavilion or cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking, biking and riding horseback along the trails of the park. The trails can be accessed from the Legg Park parking lots, the Harris Nature Center, and the Red Cedar Glen Land Preserve.
