Marshall Park was added to the Meridian Township Parks system in 1974 when the 5 acres was purchased with funding support from a Department of Natural Resources Recreation Bond grant. The park was named in honor of the Marshall brothers who were the first settlers of Meridian Township in 1836. Amenities in this park include a basketball court, play equipment and a picnic area.

Planned renovations for 2024 include a new inclusive and ADA compliant play structure, a newly constructed basketball court, native plant and wetland restoration, additional picnic areas, and additional waking paths.
