Meridian Township Police Investigate Double Homicide

Suspect in Custody

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, MI — On Friday, May 10, 2019, Meridian Township Police were notified by the Eaton County Sheriff’s Department of a potential homicide that had recently occurred in the 2700 block of Grand River Avenue.  Upon arrival, responding officers located a 32-year-old female deceased of blunt force trauma.  The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office also followed up on another potential victim in Delhi Township and located a victim in the 4400 block of Doncaster Avenue. The Eaton County Sheriff’s Department has a suspect in custody.

Meridian Township Police have been working cooperatively with the Eaton County Sheriff’s Department as well as the Ingham County Sheriff’s Department during the investigation of this incident.
