Township Offices Closed Through April 14th

Governor Issues "Stay Home, Stay Safe" Executive Order

Post Date:03/24/2020 3:00 PM

Meridian Township A Prime Community News item

As you know, we are now under a shelter at home order. Township offices will officially close at 3:00 pm today (Monday, March 23rd). We will plan, under the current order, to reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday, April 14th.

I appreciate the effort of those who stepped up over the past week. Please take a moment and reflect on those who must continue to report to work and serve. Our police, fire and public works crews need your support. Hopefully, you will find a way over the next three weeks to pay it forward. Thousands of Michiganders are without work and no paycheck to pay their bills.

I hope this three week break offers everyone good health and peace. Please take time to care for each other.

Frank L. Walsh

Township Manager
