Police Patch News Item Size

Due to the high number of complaints the Attorney General's Office has experienced, all complaints regarding potential violations of the Governor’s Executive Order may be relayed to MTPD for investigation. Please call 517.332.6526 or 517.853.4800 to report complaints. The speed these complaints are investigated will depend on calls for service and the necessity of making direct contact.

The Meridian Township Police Department (MTPD) is committed to ensuring everyone in our community is safe. To be most effective we insist everyone follows Governor Whitmer's Executive Order and "Stay Home, Stay Safe".  MTPD asks the public to only call 9-1-1 in case of any emergency or need for assistance.

Violations of Governor Whitmer's Executive Order do not rise to the level of an emergency, so please do not call 9-1-1 to report violations. This will allow our officers to remain available for emergencies.
