The Meridian Township Department of Public Works is seeking proposals for as-needed spot asphalt repair at at various locations throughout Meridian Township.
SCOPE OF WORK
Bids are solicited with the ability to utilize as-needed, specific prices for listed pay items. The work involves but are not limited to the following major bid items:
• Traffic Control
• Asphalt Spot Repair
• Aggregate Base, 21AA
Proposals shall include the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment, etc. necessary to complete the project as outlined in the request for proposals.
CONTENT OF PROPOSAL
- Information regarding the company including qualifications
- Related project experience and references
- A not-to-exceed amount for the project
- One copy of the proposal
TIMELINE
- Bids due Friday, May 13, 2022 by 11:00 am
JUDGING OF PROPOSALS
The Township will judge proposals received based on professional qualifications and experience, completeness of proposal, ability to meet project work schedule and total bid cost. The Township reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities or irregularities and accept the bid that it determines to be in the best interest of its residents.
COPY OF PROPOSALS
Hard copies of the contract documents for the work may be obtained from the Department of Public Works & Engineering at 5151 Marsh Road, Okemos, Michigan, for a non-refundable fee of $10. There is a $5.00 fee for mailing contract documents. Contract documents may be obtained via email free of charge. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS
The proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “PROPOSAL – Asphalt Spot Repair” clearly indicating the name and address of the bidder and filed at the place and by the time specified in the Advertisement.
