    Marshall Park Bioswale Project

    Full Plan Here

The Township is finalizing plans to construct a series of bioswales in Marshall Park in 2026 to address the area's persistent and severe flooding issues.

The bioswales will connect to the existing swale adjacent to Marshall Park. By utilizing soils and native vegetation, the four bioswales will naturally filter stormwater, improving the water quality of Lake Lansing and alleviating flooding within the park, nearby private properties, and single-family homes.

The project will also add new walking trail loops throughout Marshall Park, allowing visitors to explore the bioswales, playground, basketball court, and other park amenities.
