Dear Residents,

There is no question the next 2-3 weeks are going to be rough. The goal of Meridian Township is to be your safety net during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Effective immediately, we have established a Hotline for residents who may require special assistance. Please know you’re not alone. Please dial our Hotline at 517.853.4040, if you require service for a non-emergency issue. With Township Offices being closed, it may be difficult to reach us. The Hotline is available daily from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Police Chief Ken Plaga, Fire Chief Mike Hamel, Deputy Township Manager Derek N. Perry and I will be available to respond to your call. We will be able to allocate the appropriate resources to serve you.

For emergencies, please call 9-1-1. Please call our 517.853.4040 if you require routine needs. Perhaps you know a resident who can’t make it to the grocery store and doesn’t have the ability to order online. We are going to make every attempt to meet your needs.

The Meridian Township Board, and Management Team, are here to serve you. Now, more than ever, we understand the word “community”.

Take care,

Frank L. Walsh
Township Manager
