Downed Trees, Power Lines, and Outages Notice - September 4

UPDATE (9/4/26 at 10:00 am)

Multiple trees and power lines are still down as of this morning. Please continue to use caution when driving and watch for hazards on the road.

Multiple trees are also down along trails and pathways throughout the Township. Cleanup efforts are expected to continue throughout the weekend.

Orlando Park sustained significant storm damage and will remain closed until further notice. The bathroom at North Meridian Road Park is also closed due to a power outage. 

Residents are urged to use caution when walking on or near the trails and pathways.

Severe weather has caused multiple trees and power lines to fall across Ingham County, including Meridian Township. If you must drive, please use caution and watch for fallen trees, power lines, or other hazards on the road.

If you encounter a stoplight without power, remember to treat it as a four-way stop.
