Winter Park Closures

The Meridian Township Parks and Recreation Department has closed a variety of parks and parking lots for winter. Read more below to see what closures are in place. 

All park bathrooms have closed with the exception of the following parks:

• Harris Nature Center (open year-round)
• Marketplace on the Green (only open during special events)
• North Meridian Road Park (open year-round)

The following parking lots are closed for the winter:

• Hartrick Park (back lot)
• Hillbrook Park (south lot)
• Legg Park (back lot)
• Marshall Park
• Ted Black Woods (Van Atta Rod entrance; people can still access the trails from the Grand River Avenue parking lot)

The following parks are completely closed for the winter:

• Ferguson Park
• Newton Road Park
