Cemeteries | Meridian Township

Meridian Township has two municipal cemeteries: Glendale Cemetery and Riverside Cemetery. The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for maintaining both cemeteries. Whether you are looking for burial services, to purchase a grave site, or have other questions, we are here to help.

Meridian Township's municipal cemeteries:

Glendale Cemetery (2500 Mount Hope Road, Okemos)
- Plots are available at Glendale Cemetery. For more information, please contact the Department of Public Works at 517.853.4440 or dpw@meridian.mi.us.
Riverside Cemetery (2389 Hamilton Road, Okemos)
- Riverside is a historical cemetery, and there are no plots available for sale.
- Visitors of Riverside Cemetery are not permitted to drive in the cemetery. Due to the cemetery's age, there are no driveways. Visitors can park on Small Acres Lane at the west side of the cemetery and walk into the cemetery along Small Acres Lane, just north of Grand River Avenue.

Riverside Cemetery
