Transparency

The Meridian Township Police Department takes pride in the relationship we have built with our community. A healthy relationship is built on a strong foundation of trust. To foster trust and build legitimacy, we have made our general orders, training efforts, and best practices available to the public. We are committed to transparency in our operations and administration. 

Through the MACP Police Accreditation process, we voluntarily adopted the best practices in law enforcement. This allowed us to implement written directives, policies, and procedures that are conceptually sound, operationally effective, and provide the public with the best service possible.  We welcome everyone to view our transparency efforts as we strive to provide our community with excellent service.
