Before soil is disturbed...

Meridian Township typically requires a permit whenever soil is disturbed. A waiver can be granted under certain conditions. For details, visit the Soil Erosion Permit and/or call 517.853.4440.

Do you need a joint permit?

A joint permit application (JPA) is required for construction activities where the land meets the water. Save time and money by meeting with the State of Michigan Permitting Staff. For details, visit the EGLE/USACE Joint Permit Application webpage. Permitting is expedited for projects that include natural shorelines.
