Planning Commission

The Planning Commission serves in both an advisory and administrative role for matters relating to land use and development. The Planning Commission prepares the Township's Master Plan, hears and decides special use permits, and makes recommendations on amendments to the zoning ordinance text or map, subdivisions, planned unit developments, and mixed-use planned unit developments.

The Planning Commission consists of nine members appointed by the Township Board to serve a three-year term. Candidates must be interested in planning and zoning and willing to learn.
